time for a tea party

this past week, jordyn was invited to a birthday party~specifically a tea party.
she was to come dressed up for this party, as little girls LOVE to play 'dress-up'.
"but what am i going to wear ,mom?"
"you can find a dress from the 'dress-up' box in the basement!~the more
'froo-froo/frilly', the better!!"
...she's NOT impressed :(
"we'll do your hair all curly & fancy, & get you all 'dolled~up' ~you'll look adorable!!"
...she's still not impressed.

eryn got out the curling irons and started the job of styl'n jordyn's hair for the party.
we found a dress, that wasn't too garish & gaudy, but still ugly enough for dress~up.
did i say "ugly?"....pardon me, i meant pretty!
she was going to wear a hat, but that would just mess up the 'doo' eryn has so lovingly done for her baby sis!...we found a flower instead ;)


she puts on a brave face~smiles~ & off to the party

she had a grand time and was happy the other girls were dressed 'appropriately' as well!!
