the power of words.....

this short film illustrates the power of words to radically change your message and your effect upon the world.

your words have power.
let's use our words for the edification of the church & furthering the gospel.

ephesians 4:29~
let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
{or like in the video...to those who see}

our dutch guests......

for the past 2 wks were privileged to have stay with us 2 teenage girls from holland.
a group of 45 students from a christian school in the netherlands had corresponded with 4 canadian christian schools last year.
billeting was required for theses students in groups of 2.

as apart of their course studies this year, they were to visit & experience the canadian school system.
10 of these students were assigned to our school.
danielle's gr 10 english class who did the corresponding last year were notified that 4 girls & 6 boys were coming.
besides seeing the area sights they were to go to school everyday with danielle & attend all her classes.

eryn right away said she'd give up her room....it has 2 single beds.
she'd sleep with jordyn in her big bed.

we were so excited to meet our dutch guests!

this picture was taken on my web cam.....
heeeey, we're dutch!!

they are so cute....

they were pretty tired when they arrived at our house...11pm our time~5am their time
but they came with big smiles and spoiled us with all the goodies they brought...

these 2 are so creative, they made this little note book{on the left}~a profile of themselves to help us get to know them better.
it has pictures of their homes, family members, pets and fun little sketches they drew....sooo cute!
