this year it was danielle's turn to go to our great country's capital city~ottawa with her gr. 10 class!
wayne went as chaperon :)....made me feel better that daddy was there for her!
i wanted to go this year b/c i has such a great time last year....i went with eryn's class last year.
but....they needed male chaperons this year instead.
they left from the school on tues morning with 2 buses b/c she is part of the biggest class in school.... 54, yes you read that right, 54 students in this years gr. 10 class, roaming the streets of ottawa for 4 days{i'm kidding, they weren't roaming...they were on guided tours ;)}
eryn's class was a meager 32 students....

The small windows on the 'fin' on the building, spell out in morse code 'Lest we forget' (in English) and 'N'oublions jamais' (in French).
they cross over the ottawa river into quebec to visit the museum of civilization...
as you can see this native canadian piece of art is featured on our 20 dollar bill...
about 1/3 of the class.....

dani & her friends did a spoof on the 'napoleon dynamite' dance routine~'the rose' song
sad to say they didn't win the talent competition :(
they had a great time in ottawa....not always the greatest weather, but they made the best of it.they packed alot into 4 days, so these kids were ti~urd when they came home fri night.
wayne had a blast & wasn't as tired as the kidos :).....didn't stay up quite as late zzzzzz!
