one for the books....

sooo, my evening tonight.....busy.
but i had to quickly jot this one  down....

"dan. please set the table."
"k"{as she's looking over her sis's shoulder of pics on elma's blog}

i continue sorting the dirty laundry from the hampers lined up in the front hall.
as i empty her hamper, i tell her...
"run downstairs & put your hamper away & please bring up the 2 laundry baskets sitting at the bottom of the stairs"{thinking she's finished setting the table already}
so, like the good & obedient kid she is, she goes & does what she is told :)!!

i finish up making supper{it's an easy one tonight}....'15 minute taco in a pan'

wayne comes home & i notice the table's NOT set!

"danielle, how come the table's not set?"{said in a louder tone :(}

"what? you didn't ask me to set the table!!"

"PARDON? i asked you when you were looking at the pics on the computer!!"

"oh ya, but then you asked me to put my hamper away & bring up the laundry baskets..... then i forgot to set the table!!"

then she quips....."pre~occupation, mom....it ruins the mind of a genius!!"

eryn's{ the one who was actually on the computer} jaw falls open.....
"she actually sounds smart saying that!!!!"

this is too funny :)
where does she get these sayings???~she has a million of them!!
