antique show 2011...

a few weeks ago the hubs & i headed up to the annual spring antique show near dundas.
all i can say is~ i love this show!!!

every year the vendors are up with what the big trends are in home decor.
this year it seemed alot of the vendors had these old weigh scales that people are using for coffee tables.....they're all the rage(an expensive one at that!)

some of the other trends that i saw this year were...

vintage quilts & blankets.....

vintage tri~pod lamps.....{<3 these~i've always wanted one & on the lookout for one...too expensive to buy here!!}

items from old closed up churches...

vintage tins & toys....

vintage clothing & jewelry.....

bistro sets were really popular this year too....

anything 'coca~cola'....

architectural hardware & other interesting finds....

they even had a table with my name on it...

i didn't come home with anything big, or weird.....

all i came home with were these cute, enamel bowls....

yup, that's it.
i hear what you're thinking...."that's it???"
yup, that's it.
but i love 'em.
great deal at $12....i know~great huh!
more deals to be had next year!
until then....no more antiquing for now ;)!
