canada day weekend @ elim...

yay!!!

summer!!!

it's hot, humid and time to head north for a weekend get~away with the fam jam....big smile!

the plan:

leave friday night after everyone gets home from work because i have everything packed & ready to go! 

reality:

we leave 4:30 am on saturday morning!

this way we avoid the heavy traffic north AND we still have the full day to enjoy :)!

we pull in around 8 am & get to work unpacking & unwinding.

here are the highlights of this past weekend...

{thankfully, the storm blew over very quickly & we could be outside to enjoy the rest of the afternoon by the pool :) }

we were blessed with great family times together with many fun memories made!
we came home refreshed and ready to face the daily grind once again.
i am counting down the days when we can go back up in august for the whole week...yay!
