time out....

school is  the extension of the home.
especially when your kid comes home to tell you that they were put in a 'time~out' for misbehaving in class.
now i know i don't have perfect children, by any means!!!
but here's what went down today.

my child came home to tell me  & i quote.."oh, i had the best day today!!"

"great! tell me about it" i say.

"we had so much fun in class....aaron & i had to wash up the dishes that we were using, from what we were making & he splashed me with water so i splashed him back & then he was going to get me wet again so i started running away & mr. h told me no running in class~go put your nose against the wall, so i had to stand in a time out"...trust me. it was told as a run on sentence too!!

"you stood in a time~out'??!!"

"ya, & that was the first time."

"what! you stood in a time~out more than once??!!"

"i know, it was soo funny!"

"that's not funny....what happened that you stood in a time~out again?"

"well, after i mr. h let me out, aaron was making fun of me & making not nice comments, so i hit him just as mr. h looked at me and he told me to put my nose against the wall again"

"well, you know you're supposed to keep your hands to yourself.  i would have put you in a time~out too!!"

"but i had so much fun in class today....it was just too funny!!"

"i'm glad you thought so"

so you maybe thinking to yourself, which one of her kids was a little brat in school?
nope, it's not the youngest...she's usually pretty good at school.
it's got to be the boy...he looks like trouble.
nope.
