this all started when eryn & dani went to swimming lessons for 2 weeks in the summer.
i would braid their hair like this so i wouldn't have to do their hair in the morning before swimming lessons and have all 5 kids ready to go to the pool for early in the morning....some years as early as 8 am~ugh.
the braids stayed in for the whole 2 wks.
well, last summer & this summer the kids didn't do swimming lessons, so i haven't done the braids in a while.
last week jordyn asked me if she could have her hair braided....she's never had them b/c her hair has always been too short for braids.
so i told her to grab a book & get comfy b/c you're in for a long sit'n session!
i start at the bottom & work my way up, alternating them.
i added some pommade this time so the hair would be more manageable....
get'n 'er done...
she sat for 2 hours while i worked~poor kid :( ....since i'm no professional i can only work so fast people.
she was happy with her new look...
when the braids come out in 2 wks she'll look like this.....
eryn at age 7...sorry for the blurry pic~it was scanned in ;)
i mean really, how cute is she, huh?!?
veronica at first didn't want to sit for that long, but then changed her mind...ya, mom can i have braids too again?
sure, ron, my hands aren't sore at all....
well, i did three rows in roni's hair, but since i've been using thinning shears when i do haircuts for the girls, her braids just looked like one big frizzy mess....
this was a fail...
no braids for her this year.
