elora

for my birthday, the hubs told me that he was taking me out for the day to the beautiful little town of 'elora'.
a date!
wu~hoo!
he booked this day off work just so we could go out together, meanwhile knowing that there is a tonne of work to be done at home with the reno going on.

so yesterday we headed up to elora.
it was  BEE~U~TEE~FUL out.
the perfect summer day.....hot{but not too hot},sunny with a cool breeze & NO humidity!!
yes, you heard me right.....NO humidity!!
these past couple of weeks have been so humid here, that if you don't have a/c, then you find someone/somewhere that does!!

we strolled casually up & down the cute streets & browsed in the quaint shops....

wayne was holding the camera for me & decided to snap away!
i'm not usually in pics as i'm the one always taking them!
you know me & shoes.....
enough said!

we found this fun little store....

it's all about the doors & the knockers....

then wayne found the perfect item for work~

from this store, we head into here...

 we had lunch at a great outdoor cafe...

a pretty town with loads of character....

thanks so much for the great day together wayne~you always think of ways to spoil me! :)

p.s. we came home with one of these beauties...

this little beauty will go in the office{when it's finished!!} on my desk ;)
