new project.....

now that spring break is here, i've decided to start a new project.
if you remember last year during spring break we were working on this....

our tiny master bath.....
these aren't the greatest 'before' pics b/c the new shower had already been put in & the corner vanity taken out.
however, the ugly wall light (there were 2...one was removed), mirror, window shade & wall colour remain.

the 'after' pics...minus my bird pics on the wall.
~i don't think i even got around to posting these....

ya, so that was last year.



now, i am 'gung~ho' to re~do these..

they need re~upholstering, desperately......a fresh new look!
these 2 used to belong to my oma.
when she passed away 14 yrs ago, my sister & i each got one chair.
the one on the left is the original....my sister's.
the one on the right is mine which i re~covered about 7 yrs ago, with a micro fibre suede.
a couple of years ago my sister moved & gave me her chair, which has sat in my basement ever since.
the time has come for me to give them a whole new look!

all these staples must come out.....groan ;(

these 2 have danced their last dance......

ta~da.....both chairs have been stripped & i suffered only 1 minor injury....yay!

now i just need to replace the foam, sand, prime & paint the frames & get some funky fabric!!!
