so 'why?' you ask, is my dog wearing a cone?
nope, she wasn't just spayed.....that was last year.
to make a fashion statement?.....nope, that would just be funny mean~she hates this cone ;(
well you see, last night wayne let her out to do her last 'business' before turning in.
as soon as she got outside she heard something in the dark.......
long story short.....she had a little run~in with a muskrat.     eewww.
she got bit in the lip....aawwww.

right through the lip.

so i get out the peroxide & cotton balls & played vet for 10 min~ish.
{for 10 min i get to live my childhood dream of becoming a vet}
she calmly let me clean her up & check the severity of her bite wound.
once the bleeding stopped, off to bed~she still sleeps in a crate.
this morning her lip was a little swollen but was look'n good....
until she decided it was itchy and started scratching.
then we had loads of blood all over again~ugh
thus the cone.

{hopefully she won't have to wear it too much longer}
