birds

it's been soooo mild this past week.....
L.O.V.E.  it!
on wed i saw a whole flock of robins, feasting on someone's front lawn.
i've never seen so many robins at the same time in one place...did that just make sense?
anyhoo,
to me, the sight of robins means spring is here just around the corner...yay ;)!!
don't get me wrong, i do love like winter~{living in canada...ya hafta, well ya don't hafta, just makes it easier if ya do ;)}but when spring is in the air & with the sound sighting of robins it's just exciting!

it's not just the robin....
i have a thing for birdies.
i hardly call it a collection, but i do have a few of them scattered around the house.....


in my bathroom....

that's it...for now ;)!
{i do have my eye on yet another bird design thingy....}



i just love watching the birds at the feeder.
living beside the bush here in the back country we see loads of different birds & watching them always reminds me of what Jesus tells us in Matt. 6:26..
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns,yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?
....therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.{ESV}
what a comfort this is to me.
