14 already!

yesterday was Good Friday.
yesterday we went to church to remember the sacrifice that God sent His beloved Son to die on the cross for those who love Him!
we heard about the great mercy that Christ showed to the thief on the cross, when he repented and asked the Lord to remember him when He entered into His kingdom.
i'm so glad & thankful that He has shown me His great mercy in forgiving me when i have sinned against Him. His mercy is new every morning!!

yesterday was also roni's birthday!
she's 14!!

we went to brantford for the day and my sis & her gang came too!
it was sooo beautiful so we hung out on the deck, enjoying the sun on our faces!

 despite the sour looks on every one's faces, we are enjoying listening to hannah's stories of working at the old age home for her co~op.

it was so nice to have sylvia's parents join our party for the afternoon...

 they brought yummy treats!!

we had burgers on the bbq
caesar salad
& a dq ice cream cake for dessert~sooo good :)!!

we had a grand day with family & friends.

roni's is becoming quite the young lady & growing up way too fast...

praising God for this He has entrusted to our care for the past 14 years!

can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for her!
