thanksgiving....

this year deb & bill & family came down on friday the 7th of october.
as is our tradition, we {the girls} go to the craft show in vineland.
there are close to 200 vendors selling art,hand~made crafts, soaps, jams/preserves,clothing, jewelry,food{yummy fudge, kettle corn & candy apples are a must buy!}

it was such a BE~U~TEE~FUL day, hot & sunny....perfect for outdoor shopping!!
then, back to our place for our annual thanksgiving dinner.

this year my sis cooked the turkey....her first bird!!

great job deb!!  it tasted grand ;)!!

we all loved it~sooo much to be thankful for!!
we kept it casual.....
kids ate inside, grownups ate outside.

even mika got a thanksgiving feast....she just ate it so fast that she was ready for more when we ate.

josh, leah's boyfriend joined us this year too.
bill just doesn't let him get too close to leah though!! :)

levi even taught reuben baseball....(mika gets the ball from the outfield for them)

so these are the highlights of our day together.
all in all we have do much to be thankful for.
for loving family, for an abundance of food & material possessions, but above all, for a merciful Father who gave His Son for us, so that we could have eternal life!

maybe you've heard it before from nancy leigh demoss...thanksgiving really should be thanksliving—a way of life—day in, day out, morning, noon, and night—continually, forever giving thanks to the Lord.
